When reviewing cases there are a few points you will need to understand.
Important Note: If a case is closed but on review the decision to close is overturned, you have to change the decision manually as well as the case status.
Please Note:
- If the case you are trying to review is one of your own cases, then your name will not appear on the drop down list as you cannot review your own cases.
- If the case belongs to another officer and they want you to review it then they will need to request the review from their side and they should be able to see your name on the drop down.
- Officers are not able to review their own tasks / cannot set themselves to be the reviewer.
- Officers cannot review a question that they have answered
So if a client requests a review you will need to return to the case in question and go to the task that is being reviewed. Against the element in question you will see a blue button with Review inside it. You need to click on the review button as shown below.
When you have clicked the button you be asked if you want to proceed. Click ok to proceed and if not then click cancel.
A pop up will appear that will help you to send the review to another member of staff to review, you cannot review a case where you have made a reviewable decision yourself.
The Under Review task will appear in the Task Bar as shown here click on it to goes to the review page it will show the reviewing officers name.
It will show the reviewing officers name.
The Reviewing Officer then reviews the case and enters the results in the Review form.
When they are finished, they click Save. Withdraw can be used if that is the case shown here on the left.
The case now shows in the task bar as reviewed shown below.
Important Note: If a case is closed but on review the decision to close is overturned, you have to change the decision manually as well as the case status.
