Verifying uploaded documents via the Workload Widget

This article will show how to view and verify customer uploaded documents via the Workload widget on the dashboard.

Note: This is only available to those who have purchased the document upload feature for Lettings. 


Did you know: Configuration is available, so some of the tasks and elements in this article may look different from your site.


The workload widget

On the lettings dashboard, any new document uploads will appear in the count on the dashboard. In this example you can see that the "DocUpload" user has four tasks to complete.


Click into the row and this will give you a list of all the applicants that have the "Customer generated evidence task" to complete.


Press the blue "Go to tasks" button, this will take you straight to the Lettings person, tasks tab.



Viewing the document

To view the customers document:

  1. Select "Journal" at the top of the screen.
  2. Find the document and select the paperclip symbol.


From here you can:

  • Click on the document title to open it up in a separate tab.
  • Click "Edit name", this allows you to edit the title of the document or the applicant for whom the document belongs.



Verifying the document

Once you have checked the document, you will need to complete the "Customer generated evidence" task.

To do this:

  1. Select "People tasks" at the top of the screen.
  2. Find and select the "Customer generated evidence" task.
  3. Check "Yes" and add any notes required into the "Notes" box.
  4. Click the "Tick" to complete the task.



Here you can see in the dashboard that the tasks has now gone from the dashboard.
