The Task Grouping feature makes it easier for you to organise and manage your tasks. This feature allows you to group tasks into categories, view them by sequence, and quickly identify their status.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Key Features

  • Group the tasks: A new checkbox is available that allows you to toggle between seeing tasks grouped or ungrouped.
  • Task Grouping by Sequence: Tasks will be grouped by their sequence order. You can expand or collapse each group using a concertina dropdown.
  • Multi-group Tasks: If a task belongs to more than one group, it will appear in all relevant groups.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Tasks that are not assigned to any group will appear under the 'Ad Hoc Tasks' section at the bottom of the list.
  • Completion Indicator: If all tasks within a group are completed, a green tick will appear next to the group name.
  • Default View: The tasks will appear ungrouped by default. You can change the view by ticking or unticking the ‘Group the tasks’ option. The system will then remember your preference until you change it back by ticking/unticking.

Toggle Between Grouped and Ungrouped Views

You can choose how tasks appear on the Task Page—either grouped by sequence or as a flat list.

  1. Navigate to the Task Page.
  2. Locate the checkbox labelled ‘Group the tasks’.
  3. Tick the box to view tasks grouped by sequence.
  4. Untick the box to return to the traditional, ungrouped view.

Viewing and Expanding Task Groups

When grouped, tasks are organised into expandable sections based on their sequence.

  1. Each group appears with a concertina dropdown (e.g., "Triage Eligibility").
  2. Click the group name to expand and view the tasks inside.
  3. Click again to collapse the group.

Note: If a task is assigned to multiple groups, it will be shown in each of those groups.

Identifying Ad Hoc Tasks

Tasks not assigned to any specific group are still visible and easy to locate.

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the grouped task list.
  2. Look for the section titled ‘Ad Hoc Tasks’.
  3. All ungrouped tasks will appear here.

Understanding Task Group Completion

See at a glance which groups are fully completed.

  1. A green tick will appear next to any group where all tasks are marked as complete.
  2. Use this visual cue to track overall progress quickly.

Saving Your Task View Preference

Your view preference (grouped or ungrouped) can be remembered automatically.

  1. After selecting your preferred view, the system will store this preference.
  2. Your chosen layout will remain until you manually change it.
