This article will walk you through some general guidance on how to use the LocataPro platform of products.

Accessing the System
Access to LocataPro modules is controlled by local users - not by Locata.
Note: Each Locata client has a unique access link for their site. You will require this in order to access the system - ask your manager for the access link.
Once you have been setup on a module or modules with the appropriate permissions, you will be able to access the system using one of the two below explained methods.
Traditional Login - Username and Password
This method of logging in combines a Username and Password, alongside a PIN sent to the user's email address in order to login. Your Username is set by your manager who should provide this to you in order for you to login. Follow the below steps to login.
- Go to the site login page using the link provided to you by your organisation
- Enter your username and password
- Click login
- Enter the PIN sent to your email then click continue
Did you know: All LocataPro products have "Two-Factor Authentication" setup as standard. This is why you receive PINs to your email address. If the system logs you in without requiring a PIN, this will likely be because alternative 2FA arrangements are configured on your site.
Note: If this is your first time logging in, your password will have been emailed to you. You will also need to follow the on-screen prompts to set a new password up.
Integrated Login - Single Sign On using Corporate Credentials
This method of logging is available to organisations who have setup Single Sign On functionality between LocataPro and your organisation's Azure Active Directory. It is far more convenient and secure than the traditional login method. You can check if this is setup for your organisation on the login screen by looking which domains are enabled - see example below:
Note: If your domain isn't setup and your organisation would like to take advantage of the convenience of Single Sign On, please email [email protected]
Follow the below steps to login using this method.
- Go to the site login page using the link provided to you by your organisation
- Click "Login with Work Email"
