This article will walk you through how to view the audit trails available on the system.
Did you know: By default, Audit Trails are setup to display only changes made to system records. We can enable a system policy which will also display when a record was viewed. Please email enquiries@locata.org.uk for further details.
TABLE OF CONTENTS
Viewing Client Audit Trails
The system allows you to view audit trails on a per-record basis, which shows all changes made by all users across that specific record on the system.
The steps below will explain how to access the audit trail on HPA2 - the steps are similar for other modules.
- Access the record of your chosen client/member/applicant/person
- Click the Audit Trail button (see below)
Did you know: Normally, you can access this button from anywhere on the client record, rather than a specific page.
Note: You can filter by date of change and entry type by clicking the funnel button.
Viewing User Audit Trails
The system allows you to view audit trails on a per-user basis, which shows all changes made by a user across all records on the system.
Did you know: In order to view User Audit Trails, you will require the "Make Changes to Users" permission, explained in the Setting Up New Users article.
To view the User Audit Trail, follow the below steps:
- Click Settings
- Click Users
- Click the Audit Trail button (see below)
Note: You can filter by date of change by clicking the funnel button.
