Setting up an Account

In existing schemes who do not have the Document Capture Facility, any new applicants cannot log into the public web site until their online application has been processed. In the Document Capture Facility this will be changed to allow “Online to be validated” applicants to log into the site in order to upload their documents.

If the online form and public web site use email address and password to log in, the applicant will be able to access the public web site using the details they entered when submitting their online form. If the public website does not use the email address and password method to log in, the applicant will be able to create their account via the public website.

The system will allow “Online to be validated” applicants to login to the public site but they will not be able to bid on properties, the message shown in the below screenshot is configurable:

For new applicants, on the dashboard where it shows “Banding” and “Priority Date”, by default  it will say “Awaiting assessment”, this text is configurable or if required the Banding and/or Priority Date can be hidden. Also, for new applicants the change of circumstance button and the update medical details button will be hidden.
