Creating a new Partner

Under the guidance of the scheme manager, the Locata helpdesk will set up new partners, however, some schemes prefer to do this themselves. You need to have the manager function to do this.

1. Select the ‘Admin’ tab from the menu on the left hand side of the homepage.
 

2. Select ‘Manage partners’ from the options available. The options on this page shown below will depend on your security.

3. Click ‘new partner’.

4. Enter the details. The Locata helpdesk will provide the ‘code’. Only select a ‘Borough’ if the partner is a nominating authority.

If the partner is to have full access to the system, select ‘full partner’ and ‘live’. Service provider is dependant on the scheme.

If the partner is using the nominations process, only select, ‘live’. This means they are classed as a ‘non-full partner’ and can nominate properties to their nominating authority and receive nominated shortlists back, rather then working their own shortlists.
