Assessment

The Locata system will do some identification of Applicant need as the form is loaded into the back office.

Dependant on your scheme:
• When an applicant applies to a partner they are asked which partners they wish to apply to, if it is more than one partner they will then choose which LA partner is their preferred partner.

• This preferred partner will ‘manage’ the application on behalf of all partners.

AND

• If the scheme has multiple partners then local polices are applied in terms of managing the applicant and writing to them etc. This is because they may have a different allocations policies within the scheme.

• Partners need to verify and approve the Member before they can be set to LIVE.

• At which point their contact details and assessment information will be automatically saved in the Bulk Letter Manager, ready to send out the following day.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
• The system will set each application banding to the lowest band – no banding reason given. The Housing Officer must ensure this is changed as appropriate

• The system will NOT have set the Housing Type – the Housing Officer must ensure this is changed as appropriate
