Finding and Creating Properties

Created by Jake Baker, Modified on Fri, 12 Apr at 10:56 AM by Jake Baker

When you select Property from the side menu you will be presented with the screen below.

The key features are the search box - to find properties already in the system, the four reporting link options and the ‘create new property’ button.

This screen is a standard search screen used throughout the system. You can search on reference numbers or words. In the screen below we entered Acorn in the search field to get all properties with Acorn held in their address.

If you wish you can search for another address by entering a new value in the search field. Alternatively, from the search screen you can select any of the 4 reporting options:

• all my properties ready to advertise
• nominations requested
• all my void properties not ready to advertise
• problem adverts

These will produce simple reporting lists. For example, if we click on ‘all my properties ready to advertise’ the report will show the properties ready for the next magazine:

For more detailed information of a property on the list you should highlight the property in question on the list (the colour of the line will change to red) and then click the left mouse button. This will open the property record. If you want to go straight to the property advert, click on the yellow box next to the property that you are interested in.

Please note that this behaviour is true for ALL LISTS within the system. To see the detailed record, Highlight and Click. Also note that if you wish to go back to the basic selection screen, you should click on the blue More properties … link at the top of the list. A similar option is provided on all list screens.
